We are thrilled to welcome Andrea Imes, ARNP (she/her/hers) to the clinic team as a nurse practitioner. Adding Andrea to our roster is in line with our mission to boost progressive health optimization options in an inclusive, collaborative environment.

Imes will see patients chiefly for Iowa HBOT oxygen referrals and medical cannabis cards. Patients who wish to establish ongoing care with Andrea are welcome to do so through her position at UCS Healthcare.

About Andrea

Imes completed her undergraduate degree at Des Moines Area Community College and worked as a registered nurse for 13 years before completing her master’s in nursing at Frontier Nursing University in 2023.

Andrea is a self-proclaimed Army brat and has lived in many different places including South Dakota, The Netherlands and California. While not an Iowa native, she happily calls Des Moines home. In her free time, she enjoys lifting weights, cooking, cycling, gardening, spending time in nature and with family and friends.

Andrea has enjoyed many different roles in her career as a nurse, but has always had a special interest in pediatrics, ob/gyn, nutrition and community health. She prides herself on providing radically inclusive healthcare and her ability to make patients feel heard, respected, and validated, no matter where they are in their health journey.
